Dr. Conor MacCormack
Co-founder & Chief Executive Officer
As former site manager for a 5th Framework European project with Airbus and principal investigator with SPS Technologies in the US in the aerospace sector, the company CEO, Dr. MacCormack has a blend of general management and project management experience and, with a PhD in mechanical engineering, has in-depth experience in the CAD/3D printing field. He has worked as a consultant with companies such as Boston Scientific, ABS Pumps, Aisle Master, Mantis Cranes, Tanco Autowrap, Keenan Systems and Dromone Engineering. Conor has been CEO of Mcor Technologies since 2007, and in that time the company has ran a very lean operation, winning two national competitions, launched a world beating product and generated worldwide demand.
Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer
Fintan MacCormack leads the company’s technical development as Chief Technical Officer. A qualified aircraft mechanic and graduate from the prestigious Temple University in the US in electrical engineering, Fintan has accumulated a vast amount of experience in control systems and machine software development with the world’s leader in wire bonding machines in the semi-conductor industry Kulicke and Soffa Industries. Kulicke and Soffa supply machines to the likes of Intel, Lexmark, AMD and NVIDIA. Fintan also worked with RCA in Princeton NJ, and British Aerospace as a fabricator on the Harrier Fighter Aircraft.
Chief Marketing Officer
Deirdre MacCormack is the CMO, with a degree in marketing and the Conlon Memorial Gold Medal Award for outstanding achievement in her masters in advertising. Deirdre has gained transatlantic experience with the likes of Panavision New York, Golden Books Entertainment, Carlsberg, Vodafone and Cadburys. Deirdre has been CMO since 2006 and in that time has generated over €300K worth of editorial in national and international media including TV, radio, print and web.
Chief Financial Officer
Eoin joins Mcor with over 20 years of finance and management experience in the IT, Energy, Mining and Oil & Gas sectors. He served as CFO of Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd, a Toronto Venture Exchange/London AIM listed company, and held senior management positions at Sandvik Mining, GE Energy, Flexicom and Berlitz. Eoin is charged with building out the financial operations of the Company in order to lead Mcor through its continued rapid growth. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA). He holds B.Sc (Mgmt) from Trinity College Dublin.
Vice President, Global Sales and Services
A sales veteran in the 3D printing and rapid prototyping industry, Bryan leads global sales, service, supplies, spares & applications. Bryan comes to Mcor with a track record of achieving record growth figures in Central & Eastern Europe & Russia for Z Corporation and moving to continued success at 3D Systems in Eastern Europe, Russia & UK. Bryan also worked as Sales Director for Emco, one of the largest educational resellers in the UK for the Z Corporation’s range of 3D printers. He was responsible for overall company sales and marketing, managing the sales team and a large number of customer accounts and projects.
Director of Sales, Americas
Charged with expanding Mcor’s business in the Americas, Gary brings a wealth of experience and a reputation for growing sales in high-growth markets. He has over 20 years experience in direct sales, channel management and technical sales management across service, hardware and software sectors. Gary has successfully built and managed channels and implemented sales programs around the world. Gary has also held a number of leadership roles in ARRK Product Development Group and Geomagic. Prior to Mcor, Gary held senior sales positions at 3D Systems and Z Corporation.
Director of Marketing
Formerly the Director of Marketing Communications at 3D Systems and Z Corporation, Julie is responsible for growing global awareness, positive brand perception and qualified leads for Mcor globally. Julie brings a wealth of experience and a highly regarded reputation in B-to-B marketing, including social marketing, public relations, Website marketing, content, events, sales enablement and lead generation. Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College and a Master of Science degree from Boston University.
James is responsible for systems design and IP development at Mcor. With 15 years’ experience in semiconductor and electronics R&D, he has worked with companies such as Ericsson Mobile and LSI, as well as innovative start-ups Massana Design and Redmere Technologies. He holds a Batchelors Degree in Computer Engineering and a Research Masters in print electronics, both from the University of Limerick.
